The Fairy House

Jaimee and Kate have been playing together wonderfully all day.  This afternoon they came bouncing in and asked if one of us would help make a fairy house because "they didn't know how to make one".   We looked at each other - apparently we know how to make fairy houses?!  Daddy asked "How big are the fairies?".  The girls held their hands about a foot apart..."about this big daddy".

10 minutes later, I got summoned outside to come and take a look at their creation.  "Look mum, it even has a shelter!" Daddy told me he did that bit!  The gumboots were used to create a play room.

Jaimee said she needed to write a letter to the fairies, so she set to work (with a bit of spelling help from mummy).  After I snapped this picture, she realised that the fairies wouldn't know who she was, so she added "Love from Jaimee".....She then went and popped it in the playroom of the fairy house.
