A faith moment

Jaimee's devotional question today was: "why did Jesus die on the cross?"

She wanted to share her answer with me:
" because he wanted to take away our sins that we made and our bad choices that we made and all the other things like stealing and pushing and biting other people in our play and punching others"

Its little moments like this that make me so proud. and also relieved that something we tell her often is getting through!

We talked about the biting and punching bit - she explained that she knows Jesus doesn't take this things away so they never happen, but rather that Jesus takes away the sins of the people who might do these things but choose to love Jesus.
